International Admissions Process 2011-2012

  1. Campus Visit

Arrange for a family member, or a representative of the family, to complete a tour of the school campus. The student is not required to be present at the time of this visit. However, if a 7th to 12th grade applicant is visiting in the United States during the admissions process, you can schedule a date for the student to visit our school.

  2. Application Form

Return a completed Application Form, along with a current photograph, copy of birth certificate, and non-refundable $500.00 application fee.

  3. Test Scores & Translated Transcripts

Provide SLEP, TOEFL, or equivalent English Proficiency testing scores. We recommend taking the SLEP. Montrose Christian School does not administer such tests.

Arrange for a copy of all current transcripts and test scores to be mailed or faxed to our school. Transcripts need to be translated into English. Also please provide a course description of the classes which the student has taken.

  4. Letters of Recommendation

Ask current Math and English teachers to complete the confidential Student Recommendation Form. The teachers can directly submit the form to our Admissions Office, or it can be sent by the applicant so long as it is in an officially sealed envelope.

  5. Supporting Documents

  6. Phone Interview

Read the Family Handbook prior to scheduling a phone interview with the Mr. Jon Waller, Dean of International Students.

Once all steps of the application process have been completed, students will be notified of their acceptance status.

Tuitions and fees must be paid in full upon acceptance and prior to issuance of the I-20. There will be no refund of tuition after the I-20 is made unless the student is denied an F-1 Visa from their home country.
