"It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad."
- C. S. Lewis
Though many of us recognize the difficulties of being a teenager in today’s society, there are many students who will seek the comfort of the known versus the unknown, even if the known is less than ideal. Among our goals at MCS: to challenge students; to make them think; to foster an acceptance of greater responsibility; to leave the comfort of where they are spiritually, academically, socially, and personally in order to become that which that they might not have yet glimpsed in themselves. That is, to become the young men and women that God intends, yielded to Him in every facet of life to impact this world to His glory. May God grant them the vision and the strength to become such people.
